How many type of bidaat write which bidaat is correct & which is wrong?

Bida’h (innovation in religion) is called a thing which has no basis in Shariah i.e. it has not been proved by the Holy Qurna and Hadith, and which was nonexistent at the time of the Prophet (صلي الله عليه وسلم), his companions and immediate successors (Taba?een), and which is done or abandoned considering it as religious act. The same is meant by the word bida’h when found mention in a Hadith. According to this meaning, there is no other kind of bida’h. As far as dividing bida’h to some types is concerned it is as per the literal meaning of the word.
