If someone misses their Salaah or Fast, is there any Fidyah for that?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
I would be grateful if you could furnish me with the monetary value (in Indian Rupees) of fidyah for each missed salah and fast, at the present time in India.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

(Fatwa: 626/756/SN=7/1438)

The fidyah of one time of fardh or wajib salah is half sa’ i.e. 1633 gram wheat or its price. Presently wheat is sold at 18 or 20 rupees per kg in Deoband, owing to it the fidyah of one time salah shall be 30 or 32 rupees. However, it should be noted that the price of wheat keeps on changing like other items, moreover, the aforesaid price is according to the market of Deoband, the price of wheat might differ at various places of India.
