Is removing pubic hair required for a woman to pray?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
Is it compulsory for a woman to remove pubic hair? I have heard that if not removed our namaz will not be accepted. Please help me in this matter.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

(Fatwa: 160/160/Sd=03/1436)

It is compulsory for women to remove their pubic hair. It is better that the hair is removed each Friday, if not, then once in fifteen days. However, one may leave this action for forty days. It is makrooh tahrimi if it is left more than forty days as well as a sin. According to Shariah salah shall be valid during this period but with karahat. It is recorded in Fatwa Mahmoodia: “Better, to shave the hair once in a week otherwise once in fifteen days. It is a sin if it is left unshaved for forty day. The salah of such person shall be makrooh. (Mahmoodia: 449/19, Bab Khisal al-Fitrah, pub. Maktaba Shaik al-Islam, Deoband)
