Q: 4 months since my Nikkah (marriage) though in having ruksaty meaning farewell and now I will be living with my husband but ever since 2 weeks I’ve been having negative thoughts like things won’t work out and supersticious too. What can I pray that my marriage should be filled with happiness and everything should go well?

A: Recite this Du’aa after every Salaah:

اَللّٰهُمَّ أَلِّفْ بَيْنَ قُلُوْبِنَا وَأَصْلِحْ ذَاتَ بَيْنِنَا وَاهْدِنَا سُبُلَ السَّلاَمِ ، وَنَجِّنَا مِنَ الظُّلُمـَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ ، وَجَنِّبْنَا الْفَوَاحِشَ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ ، وَبَارِكْ لَنَا فِى أَسْمـَاعِنَا وَأَبْصَارِنَا وَقُلُوبِنَا وَأَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا ، وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَا إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ ، وَاجْعَلْنَا شَاكِرِينَ لِنِعْمَتِكَ مُثْنِينَ بِهَـا قَابِلِيهَا وَأَتِـمَّهَا عَلَيْنَا ،
