(1) We were unable to locate such a virtue for reading Sūrah Tahrīm. However, in general one should always read the Qur’ān and make du`ā’ that Allāh Ta`ālā fulfiles one’s needs as Allāh Ta`ālā says in the Holy Qur’ān:
قُلْ هُوَ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا هُدًى وَشِفَاءٌ
Say, “It (the Qur’ān) is, for those who believe, guidance and a cure.”
2) The following should aid you in making du`ā for a child:
a) Recite the following verse of the Qur’ān frequently:
رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِنْ لَدُنْكَ ذُرِّيَّةً طَيِّبَةً إِنَّكَ سَمِيعُ الدُّعَاءِ
My Lord, grant me from Yourself a good offspring. Indeed, You are the Hearer of supplication. [Al-Qur’ān, Sūrah Āl `Imrān: 38]
b) Mawlānā Ashraf `Alī Thānwī (rahimahullāh) states that if a barren woman fasts for 7 days and breaks her fast with water, then reads the following, then Inshā Allāh she will soon conceive:
Translation: “Oh Creator, the Fashioner!”
