In Malaysia there are places called surau which are different from mosques. The Friday and Eid prayers are not performed in a surau but daily azan and salat with jamah are established. A surau can be a particular floor of a building, or in basement. Since it is not a complete mosque, can we make the intention of aitikaaf everytime we enter the surau, like we do it in masjid.
