Is the following Hadith authentic?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org

I read this on a website,is it a true hadis can i follow it ?  Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), said: “Surah al-Fatiha is open for appealing to believers in Allah, with their wishes. Who reads surah al-Fatiha over clean water 70 times for 7 days, and then, after blowing on it, drinks it, God, by His mercy, bestows knowledge and wisdom, cleans his heart from pervasive thoughts, and grants him such an exceptional memory and ability to grasp everything on the fly, that he never forgets anything even if he heard it once.” This is shown in book Sirr al-Fatiha?

my exams are near and my memory is weak please tell some wazifa or dua for it?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

The information on the website in reference lacks authenticity.

Instead, you may choose to recite the following Duas:

رب اني مغلوب فانتصر

Transliteration: rabbi anni magloobun fantasir

Translation: O my Rabb, indeed I am overpowered so assist me.

اللَّهُمَّ انْفَعْنِي بِمَا عَلَّمْتَنِي، وَعَلِّمْنِي مَا يَنْفَعُنِي، وَارْزُقْنِي عِلْمًا تَنْفَعُنِي بِهِ

Transliteration: Allahumma infa’ni bimaa ‘allamtani wa’allimni maa yanfa’uuni warzuqni ‘ilman tanfa’uni bihi.

Translation: Oh Allah! Make useful for me what you have taught me, (and) teach me knowledge that will be useful to me and grant me such knowledge that will benefit me.[1]

اللَّهُمَّ لا سَهْلَ إِلاَّ ما جَعَلْتَهُ سَهْلاً، وأنْتَ تَجْعَلُ الحَزْنَ إذَا شئت سهلا

Transliteration: Allahumma la sahla illaa maa ja-‘altahu sahlan wa anta taj’alu al hazna idha shi’ta sahlan.

Translation: Oh Allah! Nothing is easy except what you have made easy. If you wish, you can make the difficult easy.[2]

May Allah Ta’ala grant you success in the examination. Aameen
