Assalamualikum. (Q1) Some time back I have seen ur fatwa regarding using NIKE product. U told it is forbidden for muslim to use that brand since the brand name is taken from ancient Greek deity. Is it the only reason? Otherwise, Could u please give the detail reason behind ur fatwa? (Q2) Lot of muslim live illegally in different countries. These illegal muslim immigrant use false identity to live and earn. Is their earning Halal according to sharia? If the employer know the truth of their being illegal in the country and still employ them accepting their false identity, will their income be Halal.
1. Kufr, Shirk and anything associated with it is prohibited. Nike product is associated with Kufr and Shirk as its name is from a Greek diety.
2. It is not permissible for Muslims to violate the immigration laws. However, if he is employed and earns an income, then income will be Halaal.
