Praising disbelievers and philosophy

Last year, in french class exam, we had to talk about a french poet that says really bad things and sometimes « insults God ». We had to write an essay about him in general and I said that he is a « genius » and things like that. Is it kufr to praise disbelievers like him and do I have to take back what I wrote from the school to destroy it??
Also, this year, I have a crazy philosophy teacher (philosophy is compulsory) who talks about religions and sometimes asks questions like « does God exists » and we have to write a long essay about these questions. What do I have to answer to this type of questions. Please answer fast as I am saddened about all this.

Quoting statements of disbelief

Is it permissible to quote a statement of kufr, without explicitly saying “he said, they said” or the like before the statement. For example one intends on quoting a statement but doesn’t provide a quoting statement, would this individual blaspheme.

Would one have to say ‘so called’, before for example saying “Saint Thomas Aquinas”, since we know he is a kafir and a kafir can’t be a saint. Or is it understood through our beliefs and just recommended not to call him a saint?

Liking a celebrity and nazar amulet

I like 2 turkish celebrities but one of them shared a story with nazar amulet emoji in it and other one worked in drama in which nazar amulet was hanging.  As i have heard that blue nazar amulet is haram and shirk . If i discourage their bad things and like good things? Is it likeliness to shirk??or is it kufr?

Intended do shirk/kufr but did not do it

Assalamualaykum wa Rahmatullah
If you wanted to do major shirk or kufr but you didn’t do it, does it put you out of the fold of Islam and your good deeds are erased? Even though you didn’t physically do shirk/kufr. For example your a muslim and you took necessary steps to go to a temple to worship idols but you didn’t do it. Has it put you out of the Islam and your good deeds are destroyed?

Help with OCD

As Salaamu Alaykum, Dear Mufti Sahib, I agree that I have an OCD problem and I believe that is related to me fearing whether I have done kufr, I am trying to stay away from Waswasa. One thing is that at times when I am unsure and I really want clarification from people who know if I know not,

One thing today was that I was watching a podcast where non Muslim mentioned to Muslim that an artist urinated on picture cross or something like that and took a pic and mentioned a rude word.

I wasn’t watching the video but a thought came that I wonder if the Muslim laughed but I think I rejected this and I looked at the Muslim. I feared if I looked at the screen to see if he laughed or not, then I feared that did I think a Muslim would disrespect Prophet Isa and following from that, I had a thought about that you know Prophet Isa didn’t go on the cross so is your fear of the Muslim laughing indirectly
saying Prophet Isa was on the cross but I think what I feared was that this artist called his pic, that being a rude word followed by the word Christ.

I have not read The Shahaadah in the sense of believing I have committed kufr but I wanted to ask what should I do in these situations where I am not sure? What would you say about this scenario?

My fear about seeing a therapist is that what I fear is falling into disbelief and I think the people to ask about that are the Scholars and a non Muslim/non Scholar therapist won’t be as qualified as a Scholar. I don’t really fully know of how to go about trying to find someone local to speak about all my fears and these scenarios so I resort to Q&A’s. Most of my teachers if not all at the moment are not actually local. Please advise me Mufti Sahib.

Question on Islam

1) What does Allah mean in Quran, by saying something like some people takes their own desire as God?

2) Does someone go outside of islam by Having hope in something or someone more than Allah? Also, does someone go outside of islam if he/she believes that she/he should have more hope in something/someone other than Allah?

3) Can I intent for doing multiple deeds (for example, I intent to a bad deed first, then I will do a good deed. In this case, I intent to do 2 deeds, first doing the bad deed then doing the good deed). Or Is it something like, for example: I can intent for only one deed at a time in islam (regardless of good or bad)? is there a maximum number of deeds that I can intent for at once?

4) If someone says the shahada in order to enter islam, does it count as a good deed?( I am talking about a scenario, where someone is committing major kufr/major shirk (intentionally or unintentionally or both), then he enters islam by saying the shahada). So, each time he enters islam by saying the shahada, in this each time it will be counted as a good deed?

5) If I interpret and follow the Quran and hadith based on my own opinion and disregard the scholars of islam, do I go outside of islam?

6) What if someone rejects a sahih or hasan or weak hadith saying if prophet Muhammad said in front of him, he would accept it. Does this person goes outside of islam? (This person also believes that prophet Muhammad is a messenger of God).

7) What if someone rejects a sahih or hasan or weak hadith of prophet Muhammad that explains the Quran (I mean the hadiths that is doing the tafsir of the verses of the Quran) saying if prophet Muhammad said in front of him, he would accept it. Does this person goes outside of islam? (This person also believes that prophet Muhammad is a messenger of God).

8) By rejecting ijma, opinions of scholars, opinion of companion of prophet Muhammad, opinion of sahaba, tabeyin, tabe-tabeyin; you don’t go outside of islam, right? All you have to do is just obey the Quran and prophet Muhammad? Other than prophet Muhammad, anybody’s opinion can be rejected, right? As we know every human makes mistake.

9) I have heard a hadith which says: prophet Muhammad advised to follow the truth. If this is not possible, then follow what is closer to the truth. If this is not possible, then fear Allah as much as you can. Can you please correct me in wording of this hadith and let me know which book of hadith contains this hadith with the hadith number. Also, let me know if its hasan or weak.

10) We don’t have to follow weak hadiths, right? It is not fard, but if we follow, we get reward?
