Answer

In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullaahi wa-barakaatuh.

Sister in Islaam,

We make du’aa that Allaah Ta’aala accepts your son for the service of His Deen and that He makes your son a beacon of guidance. Aameen. Indeed, it is a great sacrifice for a mother and son to part from each other. The reward for such sacrifice and pain is also great. Consider the following Hadith:

Translation: “There will be seven categories of people whom Allaah will shade under His Shade on the day where there will be no shade save His shade: (one of them is) two people who love one another for the sake of Allaah; they meet each other for His Love and depart one another for His Love.” (Bukhaari 660)

The relationship between the mother and child is natural and more than the love two people inculcate.

Hurmah musaaharah takes place when a man and a woman lustfully touch each other without any clothing or barrier with shahwah[2].

In the enquired situation, the kiss and touch was of a motherly nature. It was a motherly expression of love and affection. Hurmah musaaharah does not take place in such a situation.

And Allaah Ta’aala Knows Best.
