My wife attacks and abuses me and my family frequently, what it will cause to our relationship? should i divorce her on this ground?

The answer to your question is as follows:
One should admonish his disobedient wife first; if it fails then her family members should try to rectify the situation. If all goes in vain, one can divorce her. Nevertheless, if, after all, he puts up with and does not divorce her, Allah will reward him much. Quran says: “And if you fear a separation between the two of them, appoint an arbitrator from his family and an arbitrator from her family” (Quran: Surah Al-Nisaa ).
