Non-Muslim relatives

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I have daughter in-law who is a revert and following our Deen but she loves her family an they come and visit her. What is the ruling? My daughter doesn’t like it.

Bismillaah

A: It is important that she maintains some type of a distance from these people. They should just come at some appointed time and leave straight thereafter and one is not supposed to become too casual and friendly with them.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
