Q: I am planning to join google and the work relates to working on maps. So we may have to highlight places like Musjids, churches, malls and wine shops too. Is it allowed to mark such places in this kind of job?
A: It is not right for you to identify some of these places (e.g. churches, wine shops, etc,) and mark them on the map as you will be directing people towards places of Shirk or places of sin.
And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

ذمي سأل مسلما على طريق البيعة لا ينبغي للمسلم أن يدله على ذلك لأنه إعانة على المعصية مسلم له أم ذمية أو أب ذمي ليس للمسلم أن يقوده إلى البيعة وله أن يقوده من البيعة إلى منزله كذا في فتاوى قاضي خان (الفتاوى الهندية 2/ 250)
