Do wet dreams break one’s fast?

Sperm that exits because of wet dreams does not break one’s fast.

But what does break one’s fast is when sperms exits because of stimulation, whether this stimulation is haram, such as masturbating, or whether it is permissible, such as what is done by the hand of one’s wife. Also, one’s fast is broken by sperm exiting after foreplay, such as kissing and touching.

السؤال : هل يبطل الصومُ بالاحتلام ؟ الجواب : لا يَبطل الصومُ بنـزول المني بالاحتلام ، ولكن الذي يُبطل الصومَ هو خروجُ المني بالاستمناء سواءٌ كان الاستمناء محرماً كمن يفعلُه بيدِ نفسه أو مباحاً كالمفعول بيد زوجته . وكذلك يبطل بنـزول المني إثر مداعبة كتقبيل وملامسة .
