Is shrimp permissible to eat? Which category does it fall under?
As per an earlier post (Can we eat shellfish?) about which animals are and are not permissible to eat, shrimp falls into the category of aquatic life that is permissible to eat. This is because it does not live on land and in water, but rather, only in water.
