Quranic Translations

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by ShariahBoard.org

Can you please tell us which Quran translations are not correct or have altered or miss interpreted, from which we can miss guided as you said, I am not asking you to quote all of them but few which is popular to be wrong in the region of India & Pakistan. This is a obligation of a person of your caliber to stop ummah from being miss guided and its not optional it must be done otherwise we are all not doing our job in whole. Specially Alims just doing one part which is easy of scare Ummah of labeling them as Jahel and not fighting with evil because that is very hard work its need lots of efforts & will power. (Mitta Mitta HAQ Khadwa Khadwa TUH, This is become a practice of most Tabliqi Brothers not to disturb people from where you get trouble) I am pretty sure you know the sermon of Hazrat Abu Bakar ® on Zakat. (I have nothing against you are anybody don’t take it wrong from my question and forgive me if I say something wrong, it is like you don’t learn if you don’t ask stupid questions) (U.S.A)

Enjoining good is also one of the obligations of Islam; to order people to do good things and prevent them from wrong things is an obligation of Islam, which every Muslim should bear as his responsibility. With respect to the reference of Abu Bakar there is a little detail you need to understand. If a person understands something as obligation but is unable to practice on it is one paying versus the doesn’t even admit the obligation is another thing and judgments on both of these things are different. The people whom he fought against our those who wear denying paying ‘zakat’ which is one of the obligation of Islam. And open jihad against them was right.

The different interpretations of the Koran are correct, there are many of them in India and Pakistan and most of the transition in these two countries are wrong the right ones are very little. There are some classical translations by different scholars but are difficult for people to comprehend, if you have any translation that his modern even consult with us on or before you start reading it whether this particular transition or interpretation is feasible to study or not.
