We are planning to go for umrah soon inshallah for 3 weeks. Should we go to Madinah first or Makkah? How long should stay in Medinah? Is it better to read 40 namaaz in Medinah or to stay only a few days in Medinah and spend more time in Makkah?
May Allah accept your going to Mecca, and medina and accept your umra also your visit to the prophet’s grave. It is up to you, you can go to Mecca first or Medina also it is up to you to stay just a few days or for 40 days. One time the prophet peace be upon him said that those people who pray 40 prayers in my mosque would be entitled to my intercession on the day of judgment. We should have hope in this, as we have hopes in other things, and we should pray 40 prayers it’s a means of a great blessing.
