Non-Alcoholic Beer

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Qibla.com

Answered by Shaykh Faraz Rabbani

Is it non-alcoholic beer Halal?

Answer:
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Walaikum assalam wa rahmatullah,

I pray that this finds you well, and in the best of health and spirits. May Allah grant you all good and success in this life and the next.

If it contains no alcohol, and isn’t drunk in imitation of alcoholic drinks, then the fatwa of contemporary ulema is that it is permitted but more proper to avoid, as the believer seeks to avoid resemblance of the ways of the corrupt. Rather, the sunna of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) is to leave doubtful and dubious matters.

And Allah alone gives success.

Faraz Rabbani
