Can you explain the meaning of the following hadith relating to the Gates of Paradise being opened during Paradise. What is the significance of the Gates of Paradise being open during Paradise and the Gates of Jahannam being closed?

Answer:
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Walaikum assalam wa rahmatullah,

It means that the ways to good are made easy, the ways to bad made difficult, and the impulses to wrongful ways lessened.

An explanation of this hadith is given in the lesson (available on Sunday 26th October on www.sunnipath.com) on Prophetic Guidance on Fasting, inshaAllah.

Wassalam,

Faraz Rabbani
