Is it allowed to cauterize nose for regular nosebleeds in Islam?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftisays.com
Assalamoliakum
If you have regular nose bleeds, is it permissible to have your nose cauterized (the tissue on the inside of your nose is burned to prevent the vessels bleeding)?
Jazakallah

Al-jawab billahi at-taufeeq (the answer with Allah’s guidance)

To heal any part of your body by cauterizing is permissible.

Narrated Jabir bin Abdullah:

I heard the Prophet saying, “If there is any healing in your medicines, then it is in cupping, a gulp of honey or branding with fire (cauterization) that suits the ailment, but I don’t like to be (cauterized) branded with fire.” (Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 71, Number 587)

However, it is highly recommended that one avoid cauterizing. (Darse Timidhi vol.3 pg.257)

In a Hadith (to the nearest meaning) the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) has mentioned that a person who doesn’t get cauterized, and has trust in Allah, will enter paradise without Hisaab (account).
(Bukhari Volume 2 Pg. 850)

And Only Allah Ta’ala Knows Best.
