Q: I have a friend who has a liver and kidney failure. She prays salaah laying on the bed because she can’t move a lot. She said that in the middle of the prayer she suddenly sleeps before completing the prayer. Now the question is, is it possible to pray 2 rakat instead of four?
A: If she falls asleep while performing salaah, her salaah will break.
And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
