Q: Can you please tell me about durood e tunjeena? Is it an authentic durood? Can someone recite it?
A: We have not come across this in any hadeeth. However the wordings are correct. It is permissible to recite it provided one does not regard it to be a Sunnah. For further details refer to http://muftionline.co.za/node/1864
