Q: One aalim told me that his ustaad in madrasa Zakariyya mentioned to him that to have your kurtha pocket on the right hand side is better than the left, as a result he sews his kurthas with the top pocket on the right, rather than the usual left which seems to be the norm today. Is this true?
A: There is no significance in having it on the right side. As a matter of convenience it is easier to have it on the right side.
