Prepare for namaaz well in advance

Answered according to Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I rush from work to catch Asr salaah. I normally get there when salaah has already started. If I make sunnah wudhu, I will miss jamaaat. If I make fardz wudhu, I can catch jamaat with still one or two rakaats. Should I make sunnah or fardz wudhu in this case?

Bismillaah

A: Make the sunnat wudhu. Prepare for namaaz well in advance so that you don’t have to rush and you will secure your takbeer-e-tahreemah insha-Allah.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
