Question:
Assalamualaikum, Mufti Saab. One of my friend has told me that, AHLE SUNNAT, must not to perform Salaat in the Imaamat of AHLE HADITH. I use to go to the mosque of AHLE HADITH, because it is near to my house. And other mosques are far away. So, is it better for me, to perform Salaat in my house? Or, may I continue to go there? is it acceptable for ULAMAA e AHLE SUNNAT, to perform Salaat in the Imaamat of AHLE HADITH? My second question is ,Me and my mother are going for HAJJ this year, INSHA ALLAH, so it is better for us, to leave the JAMAAT, and perform our Salaat separately because my friend has also told me that Sudais are BADD MAZHABs and the Salaats offered in the Imaamat of them will not be acceptable. And, we have to avoid to offer Salaat in their Imaamat. Please, guide me in this situation. I am so much worried and confused. I hope you will reply me soon. I am waiting for your reply. Answer:
You should try to go to such a Masjid, to perform Salaah with Jamaat where there are no Ghair Muqallids. However if for any reason you are unable to go to such a Masjid, then instead of reading Salaah at home, you should go to the Ghair Muqallid Masjid And Perform Salaah with Jamaat behind that Imam.
When you go for Hajj or Umrah then as far as possible try to read all your Salaah in the Haram and don’t miss any Salaah with Jamaat. One Salaah in the Haram is equal to performing 100 000 Salaah out of the Haram. Similarly to read Salaah in Masjid Nabawee is equal to reading 50000 Salaah elsewhere. So try not to waste this opportunity. Do not consider what your friend has said, he is wrong..
