O Allah, protect my Islam in all conditions and do not inflict any trials upon me

اللهم احفظني بالإسلام قائما واحفظني بالإسلام قاعدا واحفظني بالإسلام راقدا ولا تشمت بي عدوا ولا حاسدا

Allahummah fazni bil Islami qaima wahfazni bil Islami qa’ida wah fazni bil Islami raqida wa la tushmit bi ‘aduwaw wa la hasida



Imam Hakim and Imam Tabarani (rahimahumallah) have recorded this du’a of Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) on the authority of Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn Mas’ud (radiyallahu ‘anhu).

(Mustadrak Hakim, vol. 1 pg. 525 and Kitabud Du’a, Hadith: 1445)



O Allah! Protect my Islam when I am standing, sitting and sleeping [i.e. at all times] and do not inflict any trials upon me which will cause my enemies and those jealous of me to rejoice

(Refer: Faydul Qadir, Hadith: 1486)
