Another version of the du’a to be recorded from the abdal

Imam Ghazali (rahimahullah) has cited in Ihya ‘Ulumid Din that whoever will make the following du’a three (3) times daily, would be written as one who has achieved the status of an abdal:

اللهم اغفر لإمة محمد صل الله عليه وسلم , اللهم ارحم أمة محمد صل الله عليه وسلم , اللهم تجاوز عن أمة محمد صل الله عليه وسلم

Answer

I have not come across these exact words in Ihya ‘Ulumid Din nor any other Primary Hadith source as a du’a to be recited to be recorded from the abdal.

(Ihya ‘Ulumid Din, vol. 4 pg. 199)

Imam Abu Nu’aym (rahimahullah) has recorded the following version to be recited ten times:

اللهم أصلح أمة محمد , اللهم فرج عن أمة محمد اللهم ارحم أمة محمد

Allahumma aslih ummata Muhammad, Allahumma farrij ‘an ummati Muhammad. Allahumar-ham ummata Muhammad

See the reference here.

Allamah Zabidi (rahimahullah) states that that one version has the words ‘Allahumma Tajawaz ‘an ummati Muhammad’ in place of ‘Alahumma farrij ‘an ummati Muhammad’

(Ithafus Sadah Al Muttaqin, vol. 6 pg. 293/294)

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
