ASalaamu alaykum
Hope you are well.
I have a problem over a year now and i got it checked out. I was asked my name and mothers name and i did send my age and i was told to give my house address. So i did so. After being checked. I was told i have side effects of jin. The person saod i don’t have any magic on me. Nor is there a jin inside me or on me. That is if i am not mistaken. But i was told it’s side effects of jin because of cleanliness. Could you please assist me here or you know anyone who can assist me in elaborating the meaning of side effects of jin.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

We sympathize with you in your predicament.
May the Almighty grant you complete recovery. Aameen.
We are in this world for a very limited time. This life is filled with challenges and adversities. Every individual faces his/her own challenges. Almighty Allah has promised to test us in this world with various things. It is natural to feel anxious and experience grief. The best solution for such feelings is to remind ourselves that we are Muslims and we are sent in this world to be tested. These tests are reminders for us to build our connection with Him. At such times, we should turn to Allah Ta’ala and seek His assistance.
Almighty Allah says,
وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُمْ بِشَيْءٍ مِنَ الْخَوْفِ وَالْجُوعِ وَنَقْصٍ مِنَ الْأَمْوَالِ وَالْأَنْفُسِ وَالثَّمَرَاتِ وَبَشِّرِ الصَّابِرِينَ * الَّذِينَ إِذَا أَصَابَتْهُمْ مُصِيبَةٌ قَالُوا إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Translation: And, most surely, We shall test all of you (believers) with something of fear and (with) hunger and (with) loss of wealth and life and crops. So give glad tidings to those who are (enduringly) patient- those who when an affliction strikes them, say: Indeed to Allaah do we belong, and, indeed, to Him we are returning
(Al-Baqarah Verse 155-156)
Allah the Almighty rewards us for everything we endure. Nothing goes in vain.
Consider the following Ahaadeeth:
قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: من يرد الله به خيراً يصب منه
Translation: Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said, “If Allah wants to do good to somebody, He afflicts him with trials.”
(Saheeh-Al-Bukhari, Vol 7, Pg 115)
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ “ مَا يُصِيبُ الْمُسْلِمَ مِنْ نَصَبٍ وَلاَ وَصَبٍ وَلاَ هَمٍّ وَلاَ حُزْنٍ وَلاَ أَذًى وَلاَ غَمٍّ حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةِ يُشَاكُهَا، إِلاَّ كَفَّرَ اللَّهُ بِهَا مِنْ خَطَايَاهُ “
Translation: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “No fatigue, nor disease, nor sorrow, nor sadness, nor hurt, nor distress befalls a Muslim, even if it were the prick he receives from a thorn, but that Allah expiates some of his sins for that.”
(Saheeh-Al-Bukhari, Vol 7, Pg 114)
Unfortunately, we do not understand the side effects of Jin and are not in a position to explain them to you. However, Jin are generally attracted to filth and prefer living in filthy places. Some Jin are mischievous by nature and trouble people. Therefore, one should constantly try to be in the state of cleanliness and purity. [1]

مساكن الجن ومجالسهم وأماكنهم
الجن يسكنون هذه الأرض التي نعيش فوقها، ويكثر تجمعهم في الخراب والفلوات، ومواضع النجاسات كالحمامات والحشوش والمزابل والمقابر، ولذلك – كما يقول ابن تيمية – يأوي إلى كثير من هذه الأماكن، التي هي مأوى الشياطين: الشيوخ الذين تقترن بهم الشياطين. وقد جاءت الأحاديث ناهية عن الصلاة في الحمام؛ لأجل ما فيها من نجاسة، ولأنها مأوى الشياطين، وفي المقبرة؛ لأنها ذريعة إلى الشرك
