Would a Woman Make Up the Missed Days She Missed for Haidh Straight After the 60-Day Kaffarah?

Question:

When a woman performs 60 days of continuous fast as kaffara, she will not fast during her days of hayd. Would she however make up the days that she missed for hayd straight after the 60 day period?

That is what I understand from the below ‘ibarat but it is not that clear so if someone could confirm, please.

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

The main part of the Ibarah here which refers to the woman fasting (for 60 days) alongside her menstruation states:

If a person breaks his/her fast on one of these days with an excuse due to travel or an illness, he/she will approach it (the fasting) differently than the one who breaks the fast for menstruation…”(the one who menstruates) shall continue to make up (the fasts) after her menstruation”.

So I believe you understood it correctly, that as soon as she finishes off her Haid periods, she carries on until she reaches 60 fasts altogether.

Only Allah knows best.
