Can following things be thrown into flowing water? How can be it processed/disposed by anyway? News paper cuttings which includes Islamic holy words, old/worn out pages of the holy Quran and other Islamic books etc?

Keep them in any carton or bag and dip it into the river after tying with heavy brick or stone; so that it could go down to the ground. The other option is to dig a pitch of 3 or 4 fit and bury it inside.
