Does following this Imam’s practice ensure our prayer (Namaz) is acceptable to Allah?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
Our Imam believe that when he say “Ya Nabi Salamualaika” “Ya Habib Salamualaika” then our prophet (sm.) come in this Majlish. My question is: Is it true our prophet (sm.) come this Majlish. And if it is false then what about our Prayer (Namaz). If we follow this Imam then our prayer (Namaz) is acceptable or unacceptable of Allah.

It is wrong to believe that the Prophet (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) personally visits the meetings of durood and salam; this is not established from the Quran and Hadith. None (whether an imam or other person) should hold such a belief. Salah behind an imam who holds beliefs of shirk is not valid. However, one can get the reward of jama’ah by performing salah behind one whose beliefs do not reach to an extent of shirk but he believes in bid’ah and innovations:

صلی خلف فاسق او مبتدع نال فضل الجماعۃ الدر (المختار)
