It is also required to work for deen and strive to spread it among people provided nobody’s right is infringed upon. The hadith says: ان لزوجک علیک حقاً
Therefore, one should organize it in such a way that neither causes laziness in religious work nor violates the rights of the family members. If you fulfill the due rights of your family and they still complain then you should try to convince them and get them understand the importance of religion and its work. In short, leaving the work of deen and engaging only in family affairs is very much harmful for you. Likewise, engaging in religious work leaving the rights of family is also wrong for which you will be accountable before Allah. So, try to discharge your duties to possible extent and convince those politely who have complaint against you.
