Should I marry or remain a bachelor?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
I am 24 year old as per Hijri Calendar. When I hear Ahadees of Sahabiya (RA) and stories of wives of Auliya-e-kiram (Reh.) I feel that I should marry, but when I see today’s situation, I am afraid of marriage. Currently, there is more negative opinion about marriage in my mind, I feel I should not marry and spend my life as a bachelor and away from women. In such situation, what should I do? if I don’t marry, is it allowed? if yes then what are the rules for that? Also, I am having niyat to go for 4mah Jamat from this Oct, after Ramadan-ul-mubarak. Pray for me. Jazakallah!

It is good to have intention of going in Jama’at for four months, but deciding to live bachelor is is not good and appreciable. You should marry if you are able to fulfil the marital responsibilities. Doing nikah is a blessed sunnah of the Prophet (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم). Nikah is also a part of religion.
