Will zakah be paid if poor and needy ones are fed in the mosque?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
Does feeding fellow brothers and sisters at a mosque count for zakah? Many of which come from poor families but not all.

(Fatwa: 1135/1146/N=11/1437)

Zakah shall not be paid by feeding poor and needy ones in the mosque or somewhere else as tamlik (giving in the possession of poor) is a condition for the payment of zakah, while the condition of tamlik is missing in case of feeding on dining table as only it is permission (ibahat) to eat. However, if poor and those eligible for zakah are made owner of the food with the intention of zakah then zakah shall be paid equal to the price of food.

Allah knows Best!
