I did the istikharah for my marriage purpose and I got positive result, but we also consult with a specialist, he did it and got the negative result, I agree that I am not as expert but as we like each other too, may be I was so confident that I got the positive result, I believe in Surah Yaseen a lot and whenever I start it reading, its starts becoming favorable for me for that proposal, now please tell me what should we do, to who’s result of Istikharah we should consider? 2) Is it necessary that when it is matter of marriage, we do it ourselves? 3) I read from your web site that Istikharah should be done when we are confused about any thing, but when we are confident, our hearts and mind are confident, our elders are agree and confident, and it seems that in obedience of Allah and Holy Prophet we can spend a good life, then should we do Istikharah or not, and why we should follow it and what will happen if we will never follow it.
If you followed the Sunnah method of making Istikhaara as well as consulted your seniors and there are positive indications in both your Istikhaara and consultations, you should now place your trust in Allah and proceed especially when you are confident and do not have any reservations.
