Burying a paper is not always an easy job so if a paper has quranic ayaats or Allahs name, can we scribble it of with a pen so we could throw the paper in the bin?
Also instead or bury, can we burn the paper?

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
In principle, paper containing Islamic material should be wrapped and buried in a safe place.[1] If that is not possible, it may be cast into flowing water or burned.

(قوله: يدفن) أي يجعل في خرقة طاهرة ويدفن في محل غير ممتهن لا يوطأ. وفي الذخيرة وينبغي أن يلحد له ولا يشق له؛ لأنه يحتاج إلى إهالة التراب عليه، وفي ذلك نوع تحقير إلا إذا جعل فوقه سقف بحيث لا يصل التراب إليه فهو حسن أيضا اهـ. وأما غيره من الكتب فسيأتي في الحظر والإباحة أنه يمحى عنها اسم الله تعالى وملائكته ورسله ويحرق الباقي ولا بأس بأن تلقى في ماء جار كما هي أو تدفن وهو أحسن. اهـ.
