Question: Is admonition an integral of the Friday Sermon (Khutba)?

In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful and Compassionate,
Assalamu ‘alaykum dear brother in faith,
In accordance with the Hanafi School, giving admonition is a sunna act of the Friday Sermon. It should be included, but it would not invalidate the sermon if omitted. [Shurunbulali, Nur al-Idah pg. 228]
It is Allah who moves the hearts. Concern yourself with your own heart and adhere outwardly to what pleases Allah. This will be most beneficial for you and them.
