Assalaam Allaikum,In a response to one of the questions you said that it was haraam to make or have pictures of animated objects. What about regular camera pictures. I have many of them in my house. Do they count as animated objects and will having them in my house keep angels from entering.I heard that when you have prayed 5 times a day an angel goes to tell Allah but if there are pictures in my house will my 5 daily prayers get accepted? Assalaamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullaahi Wa Barakaatuhu
Pictures of animate objects taken with a Camera is also prohibited.
It is also not permissible to display such pictures in one’s home.
