The Forgetfulness Prostration Behind a Hanafi Imam

Answered as per Shafi'i Fiqh by Qibla.com

Answered by Shaykh Hamza Karamali, SunniPath Academy Teacher

My question is that when praying
behind an Imam belonging to the Hanafi Fiqh how am I supposed to perform
the Prostration of Forgetfullness. The Imam says one Salam, goes into
prostration (2 prostrations) and then restarts the At-tiyyihatu. I by
that time have completed the At-tiyyihatu and am about to begin theDarood. Should I say one Salam with him or not? And can i restart the
At-tiyyihat or do I simply arise from the second prostration and raise
my finger, look at it, and start from the Darood.
