Can Muslims associate with those who deny Islamic beliefs and have live music at celebrations?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftisays.com

The Mufti,

Salaams,

In our country there is a group of Muslims who say:
1 Hazrat Eesa (as) is not coming back
2 That Sura 19 of Al Qur?an should be removed
3 Hadith was for ?back then? and not for today
4 The women need not cover their aura
5 Individuals could interpret the Qur?an for themselves.

This group also has a live band for Eid, nikah and other celebrations.

Is it permissible to continue associating with these Muslims for Eid and other occasions to ?keep the unity of the Deen??

Sincerely,

Ashmead M. Ali

Answer
Bismihi Ta’ala

If the above-mentioned is correct then it will not be permissible to associate with such a group who deny parts of Qur’an. Their ideas are tantamount to Kufr.

May Allah save us all.
