Replacing an Ameer

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by ShariahBoard.org

Assalamu’alaykum

In our Masjid the Ameer of the work of Tabligh is rarely present due to personal family issues and his work hours.

Brothers want to take this issue to Markaz and have the Ameer replaced. Is it true that in Shari’ah this is an invalid reason for removing the Ameer?

الجواب وبالله التوفيق

We recommend that keeping the respect and stature of the ameer sahibin your mind, speak to the responsible elders of the markaz regarding your concern.

It is best to have unity among the people who are working for this noble effort and everyone should maintain a behavior of love and care with all individuals.
