Question: Assalam alaykum
When I’m on the toilet I often urinate sideways so some urine goes on the part of my leg near my private parts. I first then wipe with toilet paper once then I pour water on my private parts and the part of leg surrounding that and I dry with toilet paper. However I am never sure what part of my leg the urine actually got on.I’m never sure of the validity of my prayers and cleanliness because I’m not sure if it’s waswas or if I’m being ignorant?
Answer: Wa alaikum assalam wa rahmatullah,
Your acts of purification and prayers are valid. If you get some urine on your person, simply pour some water over the area [no more than thrice] and wash it away. You can assume purity thereafter. Ignore misgivings and dwelling on matters of this nature.
