Should hands be raised during Dua Qanoot in Witar prayer?

in the third rakat of witar when you read dua qanoot are you ment to raise your hands in front of your chest because it is a duaa. my understanding was that if you do that and sombody walks in to the room they would not know that you are praying and might walk across in front of you. could you give proof of your answer

No, you do not raise your hands in front of your chest like Du’a but you fold your hands instead.
