Women’s clothing within the home

Q: We know that outside the home ladies should be in purdah, fully covered, not wearing tight clothes etc. What about within the home (not in the bedroom), what restrictions on clothing will there be?

A: Within the home it is emphasised that they remain in a modest way, for with modesty and shame they enjoy the company and blessings of the malaa’ikah of rahmat.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
