Zikr and Sawab: A Dream Interpretation

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I used to do zikr of kalima tayibah and bismilla ka zikr daily and send sawaab to few of my people who died recently. Along with my father, grandfather, grandmother etc who also died along back. But after a month when I stopped sending sawab, I saw people who died recently come in my dream. One poius lady who was my mom’s chachi to whom I sent sawab came in my dream with her daughter and went inside my house. But I was outside at that time, but when I saw her entering our house I came running and saw her finish her wudu and was ready was namaz. When I saw her, I wished her Assalaamalikum, but she did not reply and did not smile but she used to smile when she was alive. I asked her how is she? But instead of replying she asked me how I am. Then I told her where I should put the prayer mat (janimaaz) for her, she was showing me where to put it. Can you let me know the tabeer of this dream?

A: Continue sending thawaab for them. May Allah Ta`ala make it a means of acceptance for you and a means of blessings for them.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
