Q: I’m getting married tomorrow and I wanted to use the patch as a form of birth control. I’m worried that my ghusl wouldn’t be accepted if I do so I started taking yaz. It already started affecting my haidh and I’m scared of the side effects. Is ghusl valid when using the patch?
A: If it is for valid medical reasons that you have to have this type of prevention then it will be permissible. However, refer to other ulama as well.
