Is it permissible to wear coloured contact lenses?

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

_ It is permissible to wear coloured contact lenses with the intention of beautifying oneself for one’s spouse. It is not permissible to wear coloured contact lenses in order to deceive someone (such as a prospective fiancé) or to attract the attention of a non-mahram person. [1]
