If a person eats any haram thing than his 40 days ibadat will not be accepted.

Muft Sahab,I have heard that if a person eats any haram thing than his 40 days ibadat will not be accepted.Is this True? By eating haram our ibadats will not be accepted.

Yes! the mentioned matter is supported by the following narration of Hadees. However the meaning of non-acceptance is that, although the responsibility of performing Fardh is fulfilled , yet the reward and Sawab which is to be gained by Salath would not be gained.(The Narration of Hadhrath Ibn Mas’ood Radhiyallahu Anhu in Qanzul Ummal Vol. 4, Page 8, Hadees No. 9262.)
