Answer
Wa’alaykum as Salam wa rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu,
Ῑsāl Al-Thawāb is the practice of performing virtuous deeds with the intention of another person(s), alive or deceased, receiving the rewards accrued therefrom.
This practice is permissible and has been substantiated by the prophetic traditions as well.
The benefit of such a practice is that the one performing the virtuous deed and the intended recipients of the rewards will all be rewarded equally and in full i.e., the rewards will not be divided and distributed, but rather, each one will receive the full reward.
