Making wudhu with a plaster.

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by DarulUloomTT.net

Q. Is it permissible to make wudhu with a fabric (porous) plaster?

A. Yes, it is permissible to make wudhu with a fabric (porous) plaster. However, the following are the different rulings concerning it:-

1) If the plaster covers a wound/cut that has not been cured as yet, you must make Masah (wipe with the wet hand) over the plaster while making Wudhu.

2) If the wound has been healed properly, then you must remove the plaster, and wash the area while making wuzu. In this case, although the plaster may be porous, it is not certain that the entire area which is covered with the plaster may be washed while performing wudhu. So, you will need to remove the plaster, once the wound has been healed.

And Allah knows best.
